ABOUT THE eBOOK

This website introduces my interactive eBook ‘Visual Reflexology and Foot Reading’. Keep reading if you’d like more information about its contents or follow the links belowOther pages of the website cover the meaning of visual reflexology and information about my training workshops.

theory chapters (why to foot read)   practical chapters (how to foot read)

For a quick overview of Visual Reflexology read this interview in the Mystic online magazine.

The book is suitable for everyone from reflexology students to experienced foot readers.

Visual Reflexology is based entirely within Western Anatomy & Physiology and so provides a natural foundation in foot reading for those who have learned reflexology with this system. There is no need for additional study of any other medical or philosophical systems to understand it, as all the references used are already within the reader’s existing sphere of knowledge.

What some reflexologists think of the eBook...
"I have loved reading and really value Angela Telford's Foot Reading eBook. My understanding of what is going on in the body when a pair of feet are presented to me is growing with every chapter.

Where Angela's book differs so much from the other foot reading material I have accessed is in giving greater consideration to physical issues. Angela explores them first before addressing the emotional aspects. This works well for me and has been invaluable in understanding and writing up my case studies.

She also includes techniques for addressing presenting issues which are really useful and which aren't found in other foot reading resources."

Sharon Lee
Reflexology Student
"My current student group have been loving using your eBook. It's a fantastic resource and I
100 percent recommend it to reflexologists and students."
Carolyn Roberts
Reflexology Tutor Gaia School
"I'm blown away with Angela's knowledge of how to read feet and I am thrilled that she's written this eBook. It is so informative, fascinating and amazing to have the concept of visual reflexology at our fingertips."
Andrea Foster
Reflexologist
"Angela has a wealth of knowledge and expertise to share in an innovative way. This unique e-book gives an opportunity for constant updates to the latest findings and teachings around the subject. It is fascinating information for new and experienced reflexologists alike!"

The Advantages Of Digital Publishing

I’m publishing the book online because digital media is such an exciting medium in which to share knowledge.

It offers so many new ways of sharing information, allowing the use of interactive teaching methods including technique videos, subscriber forums, and Q&As, as well as links to other reflexology websites and teachers and the potential of running webinars. I can constantly add new content and instantly update the old, and use unlimited amounts of colour photographs and charts.

All these things are incorporated the chapters of the book, so there is limitless potential for including so much more than I could do in a non-digital medium.

Example of a Colour Photo with Coded Legend for Foot Reading

On the photo below I have annotated some of the visual manifestations it is possible to read on this foot, and then added a colour-coded legend.

In the chapters of the eBook, I use these types of annotated photos and legends to explain how to read the feet. Detailed explanations are added to show why the textures, lines, colours, etc. are occurring where they are, and what they are telling us about the health of the reflexes, both physically and emotionally.

Interactive Learning Tools

You can watch videos that I’ve made such as the one below, which demonstrate different ways to work on the feet based on what we see at the reflexes. I also share videos from other foot readers and reflexology tutors.

The eBook chapters

In the ebook chapters, I look into every aspect of foot reading and visual reflexology in much more depth.

The first section of the book is comprised of theory chapters explaining why reflexologists should learn to foot read and how best to use this skill in your reflexology practice and within the wider context of the profession as a whole.

The second section of the book is comprised of the practical chapters and how to actually read the feet. They cover all the different aspects of foot reading, including what to look for and how to interpret what we see.
